Pure Antarctic Krill Oil – Better than Fish Oil!
Many experts agree that the daily consumption of fish oil can be of huge benefits to our overall health and quality of life. By increasing our intake of fish oils and more importantly omega-3, improvements can be seen in reducing cholesterol levels, relieving muscular and joint pain, as well as an overall improvement in skin composition and quality.
But what if I were to tell you that there is a substance that is widely available to the general public and is 48 times better than regular fish oils, while not inducing the nasty aftertaste that is associated with these other oils?
I’m not lying…studies have shown that antarctic krill oil is 48 times more potent than regular fish oils and can have you feeling and looking 110% from the inside out in a matter of no time at all.
To find out how antarctic krill oil can benefit you … read on!
What is Krill Oil?

Krill oil is a byproduct created from tiny little shrimp like crustaceans known as krill found in the cold Antarctic and North Pacific Oceans. These tiny crustaceans can grow anywhere up to 2 inches and are one of the main foods eaten by animals such as whales, penguins, seals, fish and squids.
There are approximately 500 million tonnes of krill roaming the Antarctic and North Pacific Oceans. Of these 500 million tonnes about 110,000 tonnes are harvested annually along the coastlines of Canada and Japan. Neptune Technologies are the Canadian firm who hold the patent for krill oil extraction.
Krill that are caught are generally used for a number of reasons. They are used as aquarium foods for domesticated sea creatures, bait for sport fishing, they are eaten as a food by the Japanese (called okiami) and their natural oils can be extracted for use in nutritional supplements and as a health product on its own.
What is in Krill Oil that makes it so effective?
Krill oil is rich in the natural fatty acid known as omega 3. However the reason why it is so much more effective than regular fish oils is because of the way its chemical structure is formed.
Regular fish oils are molecularly connected by what is known as the triglyceride form, whereas krill oils are connected by what is know as a double chain phospholipid structure. But why on earth does this mean that krill oil is so much more effective?
The reason why krill oil and its double chain phospholipid structure is so effective is because this is the exact same way our own cells are made up. As such the phospholipid structure of krill oil makes it much easier to be absorbed by our bodies and subsequently nourish our cells on a deep molecular level.
Aside from being a natural potent source of omega-3, krill oils contain a huge number of other beneficial properties including:
- Antioxidant properties
- Vitamin A
- Vitamin D
- Vitamin E
